'Sorrell's Portal'

Sorrell's portal was commissioned in remebrance of Sorrel Leczkowski who was sadly killed in the Manchester bombing on 22nd May 2017.  Sorrel was just 14 and one of 6 children killed that day.  She died with her Mum and Grandmother at her side.

 

Wording around the edge of the sculpture was chosen by Sorrell's family and are taken from some of Sorrell's mottos to live by.  The painted pieces on the interior panel are all reproduced pieces of Sorrell's own art work.  The piece resides in the familys garden in Leeds.
